Joel Levin, a computer teacher in Manhattan's Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School got an idea to use Minecraft in his teachings when he noticed his daughter built a treehouse in the game. Seen and read here (if you can read Japanese), the developers of Capcom issued this statement:

If Michael Bay made a movie about Angry Birds, this would be it.
Rooster Teeth done it again, in their weekly live action comedy shorts, the online comedy team that brought us Red vs. Blue and Achievement Hunter, have came up with a small fake trailer that is kind of a tongue in cheek to all the video games that have turned into movies. And the best part about it, it looks like what would happen if the director of Transformers and The Rock got his hands on the copyrights to Angry Birds.

Game News - Independent Developers Report Profit
A million dollars is a lot of money to make, especially when you're offering your product for whatever the masses will pay for it. In May and December of last year Indie developers grouped their games into a package referred to as the Humble Indie Bundle and offered it to gamers online for whatever they were willing to pay for it. Whether it was 1 cent or a few thousand dollars, the choice was theirs.
At GDC this week it was announced that the two game bundles had actually raised around $3 million dollars. The Indie Developers immediately donated a million dollars to the charities Childs Play and the Electronic Frontier

Terry Proves Gaming While Blind is Possible.
Terry Garrett, a mechanical engineering student from Colorado is able to play an almost perfect game of Abes Exoddus. Not impressed? When if I told you this player was not only an excellent gamer but that he is also blind.
Having lost his first eye at the age of five and his second eye at the age of 10, Terry relies upon sounds, learning limitations of the world through trial and error, and quick-save convenience.
2D games, which are easier to navigate and those that pack great sounds, making it less of a challenge to track his progress are ideal for Terry. His titles of choice include, Zelda, Mario, Metal Gear, and Metroid.
After finding out they are either 2D scrollers or 3D worlds I first have a sighted person describe the menus to me, so I can get the game started

Homage to the old school video game code on Netflix for PS3
So in my household, we're finally getting into the whole Netflix thing. My parents are kinda addicted to it, and I'm sorta getting into it via my entire weekend viewing marathon of House, 24, and Gilmore Girls. While we are getting into the barebones of it, someone with a lot of time on their hands and a Playstation 3 at their disposal has figured out a code for their Netflix. This code is for the purpose of helping those who wish to discontinue their Netflix services but don't want to fumble around with the application and fear they might sign up for more time with the service. And the best thing about the code? It's a homage
